Biographie

I like to see my works as objects suggesting a story, a story of emotional experiences and sometime absurd observations

Au tournant du XXème siècle, Argenteuil, profitant de sa prospérité devient le terreau fécond de l’Art Nouveau puis de l’Art Déco. Les références à la nature sont omniprésentes et diversifiées. Feuillages et motifs végétaux, ferronneries et carreaux en céramique à motifs floraux ou anthropomorphiques, ornent façades, balcons et portes d’entrée de nombreux immeubles et habitations d’Argenteuil. (réf. AAM ÉDITIONS, Argenteuil Art Nouveau.Art Déco Visions futures).

Je souhaite faire un « clin d’oeil » à Argenteuil, où j’habite et travaille en tant qu’artiste depuis décembre 2021en présentant aux portes ouvertes 2023, une série de bijoux d’inspiration Art Nouveau.

Largement inspiré de la nature, de motifs japonais de fleurs et de plantes, les bijoux de cette série se caractérisent par leurs lignes sinueuses, courbes et formes organiques. Les matériaux utilisés pour leur réalisation sont principalement le bois, l’argent, les perles, les pierres brutes et semi-précieuses, ainsi que diverses techniques d’émaillage sur cuivre ou argent.
